I visited the doctor yesterday for a free medical checkup. I still need to get some blood tests done but lungs, blood sugar, lungs, urine, & heart (yes, I do have one!) are all good. The doctor looked a little embarrassed when she had to tell me I was a little overweight.

“Only a little?” I said. Maybe she needs her eyes checked.

I’m still suffering from a lack of sleep. I had a sleep apnoea assessment on Monday night. Ironically, I got very little sleep. The sticky stuff they used seemed to pull chest hair every time I moved.

I also have some bald spots on my chest now from having to use the scissors to get the probes off in the morning.

… from 10 days in Singapore. This trip had been postponed due to Ellie’s broken foot.

We had to take Grace out of school for it, but with a little planning and negotiation with the school there wasn’t too much of a disruption – we hope.

Anyway, all accounts in the car have it as a great success. I’ll find out more tonight. First priority was sleep: we didn’t get home until midnight and we still had work/school in the morning.
